The Christmas spirit kicks into high gear this time of year. We all want to bring joy to those that we love. Should you give a pet to someone as a gift? I really believe that is a bad idea.

There are just too many distractions in most homes as the holidays get closer. A new pet needs a lot of attention in order to integrate  into our life styles; puppies and kittens require constant monitoring. They need to be fed several times a day and it takes a lot of time to properly house train them. With the stress of the holidays over our heads, we might tend to neglect a new pet this is not a good way to welcome a pet to it's new home.Read more
